Unemployment in India

Just like rape , water crisis , economic breakdown - unemployment is a major and complex problem in India and needs an immediate solution .
According to NSSO - unemployment rate is at it's highest mark in in four decades .
What is NSSO ?
NSSO means National Sample Survey Office . It's a huge department in the ministry of statistics . Which collects data and occurs large scale survey in whole India on labours and jobs .
NSSO is a government employed department so it can be manipulated by government for political reasons . To prevent this situation a new independent body was created in 2005 called NSC ( National Statistical Commission ) . Which verifies every data giver by NSSO .
How NSC is in danger ?
2017-2018's data of unemployment was not officially released for common people . But thanks to the journalist of business standards Shomesh Jha the data was revealed . As NSC in an independent body there is a team of 7 members but 3 posts are vacant , 2 people resigned after this incident . And rest 2 are appointed by government .
Reasons behind unemployment
Unemployment is a traditional and a very complex problem in India and in the world too . But in India it effects our economic stability directly . The reasons behind this , are so many some ar political some are economical and in some cases we are the reasons of unemployment .
1) The cast system - It is not a good word to say but in our construction cast system in this 21st century . It helps so many youngest to be jobless and not to get higher education for his so called cast .
2) Population - India is the world's largest economy with a population of over 1369 million people ( 17.71% of world's population ) . And it's growing 1.08% positivity means on an average 14.78 million per year . According to world bank India have to create atleast 8 million jobs to maintain it's ratio . But in 2017 they managed to give only 1.7 million jobs . So you can imagine how big this problem it is .
3) Employability - According to a survey 80 % of unemployed engineers are unemployable . And 70% of Doctors don't even have any digree . There are many universities with only profit making and student's career destroying goals . Let me know you something -
' No Indian university among top 200 in Time's world university ranking 2019 ' - Business Standards report .
Government is spending only 1% of GDP for
Higher Education , in other hand US's is 1.37% and UK's is 1.34% . It looks like less than 1 but it's a huge number . 1% of GDP is almost Rs-13200 crore . Out of which 65% is spending on Central universities ( 45 universities ) and rest 35 % is spending on state universities ( 357 universities ) .
4) Overall economic condition - India's current economic condition is getting worse . GDP is getting low , economic growth is slowdown , share market is slow . Although foreign and Indian big companies are not investing on startups and not willing to take risk . Bank loan interest rate is going high and saving interest rate is getting low . Value of money is depreciating , monster tipe companies are eating good startups . But industries are planning to get automated and it is going to be a disaster for unemployment in India . Until
Government should bring some new foreign investment plans , make some tough calls against all these career destroying universities and colleges . Government should raise the rate of GDP for Higher education .
